The Jungle
| This is a thumbnail of the first of two main bodies of the lake. To the right is the incoming river, straight ahead is the second main lake that branches off into three arms. This picture is take at low water. See picture #2 for high water. |
| This is a thumbnail of the bank during Nov of 2000 at high water. The jungle and stickups present on the shore continues right into the water. Heavy line is needed or fish will dive and break off in less than one second. |
| This is a picture of a good 6-7# fish that hit a Senko in the heavy slop (Floating logs) down by the dam. I was using 30# Fireline and had to yank the fish over the logs as she jumped. This was topwater in about 200 feet of water. They hang out in the "slop". | |
| This thumbnail is of one of the many bass in the 6 pound plus range that we got in our three full days of fishing. The big females had not moved up yet so you were stuck with catching 75-100 of bass from 1 oz to 8-10 pounds. Most fish were in the three pound range, very mean fighters. |
