Introducing the brand new Lip Grip'r from the labs of Scientific Bass Products. For year fishermen have suffered through torn up and bleeding thumbs from getting on a hot bite and lip'ing so many Bass. They have lost the hog at the boat, lost fish at the live well and had the fish of their lives get away because they hesitated that extra second in putting the grip on those big nasty lips.

Do you realize that if you catch a 3 pound bass in the morning and leave the air recalculation on for the day, by the time it comes to cull him, you have a very well oxygenated bass that wants to tear your thumb off. Well I have been cut and raw for the last time.  Now the first thing I put on in the morning is my trusty Lip Grip'r.  Believe the guides in Mexico if you don't believe me.  I get mugged every trip to Lake Huites.  These guides lip upwards of 200 bass a day, day after day after day.  They know what a great relief it is to slide one on their thumb into a Grip'r in the morning, and forget about the pain for the rest of the day.  A Lip Grip'r aids my wife in holding on to her bass.  Now she just lip's them and unhooks them all by herself.  They don't hurt her and she has a solid grip, the teeth lock into the spongy type of material.  This is not just a gimmick, people in the know ask for them by name.

Catch + Photograph = Release

Alamo Lake, Arizona

I am a lucky man, you see my wife never stops me from going fishing. So after returning from Alamo during the spring spawn and catching and releasing well over 200 bass in 3 days (all on Kick'n Bass®), I had the dubious pleasure of returning that following weekend to do it all over again. My thumb was a bloody infected mess. I had gauze wrapped around my thumb, which was held on with black electrical tape, which was held on with gray duct tape! There had to be a better way !

Well here it is. The only net you will ever need for Bass. (No sharks please.)

Protection you don't mind wearing all day, all weekend. Made of a spandex material for quick drying material that Bass teeth just stick right into. This product will give you years of service and can be stored in your tackle box or pocket, ready to use each time you start your trip.

My partner Stinky sunk a razor sharp hook into his finger this spring. The fish wasn't big, most dinks aren't. (ha, ha) But that little guy changed Greg's attitude. You see I had to take the needle nose and push the hook all the way through his finger then cut off the barb and back it out. Needless to say Greg became a little dink shy. Well after receiving our first shipment of Lip Grip's we were out together again. In comes another dink on a rattle bait, just loaded with hooks, Stinky reaches down to lip him and THIS TIME the Bass shakes and buries the hooks into the Lip Grip'r. Greg looked up at me and said " I wish I had that on camera." I think he wears his Lip'r to bed now.

This is a product you can either wear all day, or just drop it in your pocket and reach for instead of a net. A net kills fish by removing their protective slime. In most tournaments nets aren't legal. When you lean over and really want that hog in the boat, don't be shy, just reach down with confidence and Lip him. He won't get away from the Grip'r.

Finally something a Bass can sink his teeth into !
