The Finger Rest Works!

Since being given the opportunity to field-test the new finger rest here in Arizona, I have improved my hook-up ratio by fifty percent! By using the finger rest while fishing jigs or a Carolina rig, I can significantly increase the sensitivity of my line, which allows me to detect even the most subtle strikes. I have even used the finger rest while finesse crankin’ in order to detect the light hits when fishing through heavy cover. I believe it is a must for any serious fisherman. The finger rest helped me and my partner qualify for the 2001 All-star Bass Superteam Championships which will be held on September 14-15, 2001 at Roosevelt Lake in Arizona.

Watch Out For The New Ambush Lure!

As a tournament fisherman, I am always looking for something that could give me an edge over my competition. The ambush lure has done just that! The lure has incredible action and lifelike appearance that draws fish from a great distance. When they arrive, the ambush lure releases scent from its scent chamber which really keys the strike. As a member of the Kick'n Bass pro staff, I fill the scent chamber with a shad scent and then hold on tight for a viscous strike.

Since I began fishing the bait here in Arizona, I have had some awesome days on the water with this lure. "That thing looks goofy," commented my partner the first time he saw the lure. However, by the end of the day he threatened to make me swim back to the boat ramp if I didn’t get one for him. The ambush lure has helped me and my partner qualify for the 2001 All-star Bass Superteam Championships which will be held on September 14-15, 2001 at Roosevelt Lake in Arizona. I hope the competition doesn’t find out about the Ambush Lure until AFTER the tournament!
